
Karen Von Hollen

director of operations
Karen grew up in Shawnigan Lake, B.C., where she actively participated in a variety of sports.
With a background in business management, Karen brings experience from the hospitality industry, government, and private sectors. Throughout her career, she has contributed to communities through various volunteer opportunities.
Driven by her passion for lacrosse, Karen transitioned from roles in hockey, elementary schools, and coaching to focus on minor lacrosse, where she supports its growth, accessibility, and education.
Before joining Fusion, Karen volunteered as 1st Vice-President, scheduler, and Zone 2 Representative for the Thompson Okanagan Minor Box Lacrosse Commission and British Columbia Lacrosse Association Minor Directorate. She also served as the Zone 2 Representative for the 2018 BC Summer Games boys field lacrosse team and was organizing the 2020 Zone 2 BC Summer Games boys box lacrosse team when it was cancelled. Karen’s contributions have been recognized with the BCLA’s President’s Award in 2018 and the BCLA’s Spirit Champion Award in 2021.

His passion, focus on inclusivity and equality, and quality coaching—together with the entire coaching staff—create the affordable, family-focused environment that makes up the ‘Fusion Family’, and I’m thrilled to contribute to it.”
