LACROSSE FOR SCHOOLS

Fusion West’s Lacrosse For Schools program is designed to engage young students in the game of lacrosse and teach the Indigenous history of the sport.

Our goal is to foster a love of the sport through gym class lacrosse sessions in hopes of boosting local organization registration numbers. Fusion provides the coaches and equipment for each class and follows a proven curriculum to make sure each student is learning the sport in a safe, fun, and inclusive environment.

We have since had programs in over 50 elementary across BC; including the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island and Thompson Okanagan.

“The Fusion staff went above and beyond to make the activities engaging and inclusive for all of our students.

The staff were reliable, fun and knowledgeable and accommodating when we had to cancel for a snow day!

It was a great experience and we would highly recommend this program to other schools!”

one-day grants

Schools with limited funding can now experience lacrosse in their classrooms on behalf of Build Fitness.

The One-Day Grant program is an initiative brought forth by Build Fitness’ owner Michael Pahl - a passionate lacrosse community member. With his support, the Lacrosse For Schools mission to #GrowtheGame in British Columbia becomes a reality.
