Savanna has played lacrosse for 23 years, starting in boy’s box lacrosse at the age of 5 and playing with the boys until graduating out of intermediate with North Delta. Savanna began to play boys’ field lacrosse at the age of 9 and continued until she graduated from the U-19 program in South Fraser. In 2005 Savanna, alongside four women started the girls’ field lacrosse league that exists in the lower mainland today. During this time Savanna put on clinics and camps to help teach girls field to coaches and players all around the lower mainland.  In 2008 Savanna made Team BC for U-19 men’s field lacrosse, being the only female in the team’s history. In 2010 Savanna attended La Salle University playing division 1 lacrosse as an attacker and in 2012 became a goalie.
