Fusion Spirit Foundation

Providing opportunities for Indigenous youth to learn and play the sport of lacrosse.

Our Mission

Lacrosse was a gift to us from the Creator as a medicine game for healing the people. It is a game of respect, integrity, honesty and trust; the four pillars that our foundation is built on. We created the not-for-profit Fusion Spirit Foundation to help Indigenous youth gain opportunities to learn and play the medicine game.

More information can be obtained from the Fusion Spirit Foundation website about our programs and initiatives, or email director@fusionspiritfoundation.com.

Our Initiatives

  • Lacrosse Equipment Grant

Families can apply for our Lacrosse Equipment Grant. We will provide families with sport-appropriate, and safe, protective equipment and sticks for their child to use.

  • Community Equipment Grant

Any community member can apply for our Community Equipment Grant. Once approved, we will bring in a coaching staff and provide the equipment necessary to run clinics with the goal to develop a sustainable program for the community.

  • Scholarships

Families can apply to receive a scholarship to participate in our travel program. Our scholarships provide opportunities for children to play on a high performance team, travel to NCAA recruiting tournaments and guide players and their families through the recruitment process.

  • Mentorship

By establishing sustainable programs we are creating a framework for young athletes to gain valuable life skills such as: responsibility, accountability and teamwork, through participation in lacrosse.

How You Can Help

With your help, we can reach our goal of providing an avenue for Indigenous youth to play the medicine game. We will create sustainable programs within Indigenous communities to develop a cycle of learning, skill development, mentorship and growth. 100% of your donation directly goes to funding our initiatives.
